How to deliver your pitch

Perhaps the most widely used method of letting people know about your business is through the classic "elevator pitch" where you have a brief amount of time to summarize and capture the attention and interest of potential investors, co-founders, employees, and service providers.

The elevator picth is composed of your video and a syncronized set of slides or pictures.  Attached to this can be financials, business plans, brochures, or other documents.

In some cases you would like this information to be both private as well as encrypted.  Although how the recipient uses the information is on a basis of trust, this can give you an added sense of security.  Also, you may want to the ability to track the information to keep a record of who received what information and when.

Elevator Pitch

This is the single most important thing that gets people's attention. Sometimes it is also called the "parking lot" pitch - in either case you need to make an impression in a very short time.

Important for business plans too.

Hey, great to see some engagement within the theme of this site. I completely agree and this is one of the reasons I joined here.

Perhaps one of the most overlooked parts of a business plan is the "pitch" that you need to even get someone to look at it. Most people use the plans more like due diligence after they've already taken an interest in the idea. This site holds a lot of potential to explore, develop, and expand on the concept and I think is a worthwhile focus area for a lot of businesses- especially the small, home-based, online, startups phenomena.

In terms of social networking, this forum is not very active. I've got a community with broader themes you might like to check out. www.arealight.ning.com However, I intend to keep looking into and engaging this site on topic because of the value I see in it. The concept is great and critical.

Best,

Anthony

Thanks for asking

I've been seriously involved in research & development for my various business concepts. They all fit within the theme of "modern business for the modern environment". Needless to say, I came upon various web 2.0 platforms and started integrating those into my strategy. This is documented considerably on various blogs I maintain. Among emerging dynamics a business needs to consider these days are transparency in development and intimate relationships with your market. So if you do decide to join my community, you will surely have an opportunity to become friends with me and learn all about the concept.

Thanks for asking!

Best,

Anthony
